| Cats on Rats What type of plague rat-addict is your cat? |
|||||||||
| Most cats find our plague rats irresistible, and we have noticed a number of typical responses to a nice fresh ratsie. Which one is your cat? The Teddybear: This cat will wrap its paws around a rat and hug it and hug it and hug it, sometimes its back leg will twitch uncontrollably, but that’ s about it. This is one loved up moggy with a comfort toy. The Cat Burglar: This cat doesn't wait for you to get home to unwrap it’s plague rat delivery, it breaks into the padded envelopes almost the second they hit the doormat. Some cats have even been observed trying to open cupboards to get at a plague rat. The Manic Snoozer: This cat loves the hit of a fresh plague rat, but can’ t decide whether to have a nap or bounce off the furniture. Sometimes they try to do both simultaneously leading to a general loss of dignity. The Big Game Hunter: This cat is fortunately relatively rare, whilst most moggies get months of enjoyment out of a plague rat, this one goes straight for the kill, rips its head off, and sprinkles catnip and valerian chunks all over the carpet. Then it sits back and waits for you to admire its handiwork. The Rock n Roll washout. Oh dear, oh dear, some cats just don’t know when to stop. This cat takes on board just a bit too much plague rat at once and spends the next several hours slightly comatose, dribbling all over the carpet. If they weren't so cute we might worry about them.
